How to Reach Kerala
Kerala is well-connected by air, rail, and road, making it easy to reach from most major Indian cities.
By Air: Kerala has four airports with international connectivity — Kochi (Cochin International Airport), Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode (Calicut), and Kannur. Kochi is the best-connected, with direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
By Train: Ernakulam Junction (Kochi) and Thiruvananthapuram Central are the main rail hubs, with direct trains from Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, and Coimbatore. Travel time is roughly 10-12 hours from Bangalore or Chennai, and 24+ hours from Delhi or Mumbai.
By Road: Kerala has strong highway links with neighboring states — Bangalore to Kochi is about 460 km (9-10 hours by car), Chennai to Kochi around 690 km (12-13 hours), and Coimbatore to Munnar a scenic 3-4 hour drive. Regular private cabs and state buses run on these routes.
